Wrappers lacking, title-page detached, a good copy with embossed library stamp to the title-page. Uncommon. Funk was a Bamberg physician. His medical dissertation, this was first issued in 1819 (but not published). This second edition -- the first published edition actually for sale, is lightly revised, inserts a few additional remarks, and adds an Anhang. Contains a 6 page bibliography. Hirsch II: 464.
