Printed by the Verlag for the Viennese Society of Bibliophiles, this is one of two private press books produced by the Verlag and is by far their prettiest book. Grinstein #10605; Norman Freud Catalog 53; Norman Catalog F112 (both this copy). 14.5 ounces = 413 grams. 10.0 x 6.6 x 0.5 inches = 25 x 16.5 x 1.3cm. Haskell Norman's copy with his bookplate. Analysis of Christoph Haizmann, a 17th century painter who believed he was possessed by the devil. Freud identified Haizmann's neurosis as rooted in longing for his father, regarding the devil as a father substitute. Binding: PB. Dustjacket: fine.
