Hardback, two folio volumes bound as one thicki volume; pages are double-columned, numbered by the column, two to a page--thus column 1794 is on p. 897. Ex-library copy, with glue stain from call-number label that was removed from bottom of spine; with library ownership stamp on top edge of page block; and with library accession number and WITHDRAWN stamps on title page. Yellow cloth binding, has been professionally recased, with new endpapers and with new cord head- and tailbands. Binding is a little smudged on its spine and covers and is a little rubbed at its spine ends and cover corners; page block edges are also a little smudged, with a couple of very minor smudges in red ink on the fore edge and on the front cover. Binding is unfaded, square, and tight; text pages are clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. It will cost more than the standard rate to ship this very large book, especially by Priority Mail or to places outside the U. S. ; 1958 facsimile reprint of the 1688 edition.
