Velvet is very lightly scuffed; corners and spine ends are very lightly rubbed. In original sturdy clamshell box, in Good only condition--with white spine and gold boards and edges; gold part is a bit spotted with tarnishing, and white part is a bit spotted with foxing. One corner of box is split, and cover of box is just barely starting to split at both ends of its hinge. It will cost more than the standard rate to ship this very large book, especially by Priority Mail or to places outside the U. S. ; Lavish production, with one hundred plates, many in color; color plates are printed on one side of the page, leaving the other side blank, and most of the color plates cover two folio pages. Type-face is very readable Baskerville and print size is large enough for all but the weakest eyes. ; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 228 pages. Very Good .
