New York, NY: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1950. Hardcover. Orange cloth binding, a little dampstained at top of front and back covers, showing as faint white discoloration; endpapers a little wrinkled. Binding is otherwise square, tight, and clean, and pages are also clean. Dust jacket is also dampstained over the top half--showing orange on the inside and tan on the outside of both front and back panels. The jacket is also rubbed at edges, with small closed tears and tiny chips at spine ends and corners. No actual water damage or musty smell--dampstaining seems to have come from humidity, not from soaking. ; Dust jacket in a clear plastic protector. ; B & W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 208 pages.
