First edition in English, London, Murray, 1860. A very good, sound and presentable ex-library copy in contemporary marbled boards, half calf gilt : a few faint library stamps (none on title-page) : bound without half-title and any advertising leaves (if called for?) : quite slight external rubbing and signs of use. Some marginal pencilling in an unidentified hand. ¶ A supplementary volume containing other works by Bastiat was later published by Oliver and Boyd of Edinburgh, printers of the present work : but this is complete in itself.
