1863. LARGE ORIGINAL COPPER ENGRAVED SEA MAP OF EGYPT. Fine and decorative very large wall copper engraved sea chart covering the mediterranean coast from Damietta to El Arish, in North Sinai, Egypt. Map based on survey dated 1856. Variation dated 1862. Map engraved by C. & J. Walker and published in 1859 at the Admiralty. Corrections dated 1859, 1862 and 1863. Paper size approx.: cm 96,3 x 65,3. Strong and dark impression on strong paper. Small margins. Small tears. Paper with foxing and browning. Map renforced at the back along lower margin. Small lost at top centre and at lower right corner.
