Pp. (ii), 100. Original blind stamped cloth, lettered in gilt. Stamp on free front end paper. An anonymous translation (but by the Finnish mission) of the Matteus into the Oshiwambo language. The Owambo people live in today's Northern Namibia. The Finnish missionaries arrived here in the early 1870's, created a written language and produced many books in the local language.
