[HEDIN, SVEN - PHOTOGRAPH]: Postcard made out of a photograph of Sven Hedin and others, sent from Germany to Sweden in 1935.
Size: 13.8 x 8.8 cm. Surcharged postcard dated Augsburg October 18th, 1935 written by David Hummel. He participated in Sven Hedin's last great expedition into Chinese Central Asia (the Sino Swedish Expedtion 1927-35) as the expedition's medical doctor and scientifically he was responsible for the fields of zoology, botany and anthropology. The postcard is also signed by Sven Hedin ("Heil Sven Hedin") and his sister Alma Hedin.
