"Un excellent petit dictionnaire annamite-francais sans caractères, dont l'autéur, Mgr. Caspar, évêque et vicaire apostolique de la mission de Hué, était alors simple missionaire à Saigon". A second enlarged (and totally revised) edition was published in Saigon 1898 by J.F.M. Génibrel. Cordier BI 228.
