Old inscription on back page reads: "Presented to the Phoenix Society by Rev. F. Humphrey, October 7th, 1844". First edition. This text is about "the Christian Buddhist systems contrasted". Reverend Judson (1788-1850) was the first agent of the American Baptist Union in Burma founded in 1814.
