A very attractive copy with no serious flaws. Hinges are intact and firm, cloth and gilt bright and not significantly faded, slight wear to fore-tips, not really worn through, short pull-tears to spine-ends, with slight loss to cloth at head of spine (under 1/4"). Internally there is no owner's name or other markings to text, except for a tiny "31" to the top corner of the title page. There is no loss or significant wear to the large rear folding map except for a large tear near where it is bound in. A superb copy overall. Quite scarce to find one in this condition since most are ex-library and heavily read. Very Good.
