Paris: Emile-Paul Frères, 1914. 16mo, (4), iii, 419pp. Pale yellow wrappers, lettered and bordered in black, inscrpt. at half-title, very mild wear, some faint embrowning at uncut edges, a nearly fine copy housed in a worn quarter morocco over marbled paper slipcase with gilt-lettered spine and green cloth sleeve insert. ¶ First Edition, inscribed by the author noted Parisian publisher and bibliophile Edouard Champion, with Barres' printed calling card laid-in. This copy, from a limited edition of 1150 printed on vélin pur fil, notes at the justification 'examplaire tiré spécialment pour l'auteur.' Talvart & Place 64A.
