Charpentier, 1884. 12mo, (2), 291pp. Pale yellow wrappers, with decorative border and lettering in black, manuscript letter laid-in, backstrip torn along length but cords sound, foxing throughout, otherwise a good copy. ¶ First Edition. Gabriel Vicaire (1848-1900) wrote satirical light verse and was part-author with Henri Beauclair of Les Deliquescences d'Adore Floupette.' With an ALS by the author to the celebrated man of letters Theodore de Banville (1823-91) laid-in.
