Contemporary full burgundy crushed morocco, gilt lettered, gilt ldec. compartments, French fillets, gilt-tooled edges, aeg, bookplate, tight, internally clean, near fine. ¶ Fictitious imprint? Compositorial characteristics (quire catchwords, three leaves in each gathering signed, signatures offset to the right) suggest a French or perhaps Swiss origin. Scarce. Bengesco 665.
