London, Boosey & Co Musical Presentation Library, 28 Holles St. c.1840s-1850s. 5pp + title-page. Engraved music. Appears to have been carefully removed from an album. Several shop stamps to title-page, o/wise good. Mary Ann Virginia Gabriel (1825 - 1877) was a student of piano of Pixis, Dohler and Thalberg, and Molique for harmony. Her principal work was Evangeline, a cantata, but she wrote many operettas and a number of her songs were very popular (Grove's: 1940)
