EPHEMERA. LIEBIG. I Promessi Sposi. Set of 6 Liebig cards
Liebig Compia. Six cards that were distributed gratis with the purchase of the Puro Estratto di Carne Liebig. They are numbered from 1 to 6 & depict scenes from Alessandro Manzoni's classic novel I Promessi Sposi. Each consist of a colour illustration of the scene as well as that of the extract. It is interesting to note that the packaging of the extract changes between cards 3 & 4. On the reverse side are descriptions of the scenes depicted (in Italian). One card has a shop stamp to a reverse side edge, o/wise they are in good condition
