Our reprint also contains the catalogue of duplicates from Heckscher's library, sold by Merwin-Clayton in 1906. Heckscher was a great angling book collector, with, according to the preface of the original sales catalogue, his Angling Library considered at the time to be "the largest, but one, in the United States."
