'Done Up!'". np, nd [ca. 1880]. (COACHING) Approx. 11" x 15". . On illustration board. Some light foxing, a line of abrasion along right edge approx. 1/4" wide. ¶ This anonymous, English drawing, captioned "The Hill to the Downs.- 'Done Up!'", shows a four-in-hand coach loaded with passengers, apparently making its way from London to the races at Epsom Downs. The coach is either stationary or moving very slowly, as a smaller carriage drawn by two horses passes it quite easily. The four horses look rather haggard and worn. A very nice, dramatic item Offered for US$ 450.00 by: James Cummins Bookseller - Book number: 48261 | |||
