Joints rubbed and starting. Early ink notation on title and final page. Barbier I 1020. ¶ First published in 1575, followed by 1576 and 1578. Brunet doubts the attribution to Henri Estienne, on the grounds that Estienne had nothing against Catherine. The book has also been attributed to Théodore de Bèze and Jean de Serre
