Folds, tape repair on verso, some small holes generally not affecting legibility, rectangular blind stamp of Kendall & Sons Leominster in upper left corner, else in very good condition. ¶ ¶Document acknowledging receipt of seven hundred dollars from Samuel N. Rourk in exchange for "a certain negro man, George, slave for life" confirming that George is "sound in body and mind, except a trifling nearsightedness." Docketed on verso "H Smith's Bill of Sail To By George"
