Engraved document of the Armée Royale, in the Name of the King, accomplished, signed by the Comte de Floirac, as Maréchal de Camp, Préfet du Morbihan and Commissaire Extraordinaire du Roi.
Au Château de la Berraye, dans le Morbihan, Bretagne, 22 mai 1815. (NAPOLEON) 14 x 9-1/2 inches. Engraved vignette at top center. Naming Monsieur Harcourt (de Karel) a Captain in the 3rd Company of the 3rd Battalion of the Légion of M. Lettrier, folds, some staining along center fold and in corners, else a very good copy. ¶ Appointment in the the Royalists Army for Captain Hartcourt who served from the 22nd May until the 30th of July, during the Hundred Days War following Napoleon's return the 19th March. Payment instructions from the Inspector of Service are on the verso with the inspector's signature and stamp (faded) underwhich is the notation paid the 29th December 1815 from the Morbihan Public Treasury with signature and stamp
