Two mounted albumen prints: frontispiece of "The Author," and "Anglers at the Bull Inn, Fairford" (both somewhat faded); plus 2 wood-engraved and 2 lithographic plates. iv, 89, [1] pp. Original decorated brown cloth, near fine, inner hinge at title page just starting, small snag at top ofspine and added leather title label. Very scarce. Westwood & Satchell, p. 161; Heckscher 1472 (both calling for only 2 plates). ¶ Practical advice, not only on fly-tying, but on rods, reels, lines, nets, and other equipment, some of it invented by the author. Besides the two albumen plates noted above, there are two wood-engravings of equipment and two lithographs of angling-associated buildings, "Coulton's Fishing House" and "The Peacock. Rowsley, Derbyshire."
