Broadside for the Theatre in the Bigg-Market presenting the comedy "The English Merchant" followed by the farce "High Life below Stairs," this last crossed through and changed in manuscript to "Midas," Friday, being the 17th Instant.

Some browning and spotting, margins trimmed, else a very good copy with a contemporary penned price noted on the main production and the manuscript correction noted above. ¶ Rare. The itinerant playing company of Joseph Austin and Michael Heatton, a partnership that lasted from 1766 until 1775. The principle players in the the comedy were Mr. Heatton, Mr. Austin, Mr. Jackson, Mr. Massey, Miss Heatton, Miss Skyddard, Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Nepecker, with Mr. Shuter dancing and Mr. Jefferys singing.
