[Paris], [ca. 1797]. (FRENCH REVOLUTION) 4 3/8 x 2 9/16 inches. . Card with "Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité along upper margin, on left margin printed text "La Parole est interdite au porteur de cette Carte" and on the right "Le Citoyen qui troublera l'Ordre sera exlu de l'Assemblée," the verso bears a blue oval stamp of the Societé Centrale République. Some abrading on verso, small pin marks at one end and some light soiling, else in very good condition. ¶ Rare
