Spine tips a little frayed, coves a little stained and rubbed; overall, very good. Wright III 965 (first ed.). ¶ A novel of Wall Street speculation, first printed in the previous year anonymously. This second edition has a new "Publisher's Note" which quotes a review of the Philadelphia Evening Sun identifying the author by name, and adding that 'he accquired his knowledge of Wall Street as the financial reporter of the New York Tribune.'
