With one exception (the Coliseum, which is faded) most of the images are bright and clear. ¶ Fine, large views of antiquities in Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, from the Warren Delano family; each of the mounts is captioned and inscribed in a neat hand at the lower right corner "ALD from ED"(or "ED to ALD") and dated either February or April, 1870 The views include: "Casa de Cornelio Russo" - Pompei; Strada della Tombe (Pompeii); Roman Forum; Rome - The Capitol; Temple of Minerva (Rome); Cypress trees at Tivoli near Rome; Temple of Vesta; Bath of Caracalla (Rome), etc
