Newfoundland and Labrador with successful lives as hunters/fishers. Very little of their prey was wasted. In 1973 archaeologists found a burial mound near the L'Anse Amour, Labrador. Rocks covered a large pit 4 ft deep and tools and weapons surrounded a face-down body. Why was this 12-yr old given such a ceremonial burial? Last few pages damp-stained.
