Drouot who. according to some critics greatly resembles Welles. France's play is also the basis for Mascares (Masks) which played at the San Sebastian Film Festival in September, 2009. Jose Maria Pou played Welles. France's later work published in 2001 is "Orson Welles on Shakespeare: the W.P.A. and Mercury Theatre Playscripts" won rave reviews for illuminating Welles and for giving us access to Welles.
