Spine has five raised bands, trimmed in gilt, with gilt decorations and lettering. Spines and covers have some wear; owner's name on front endpaper; inner pages somewhat browned, but most are clean. These two volumes are about John of Barneveld, or Johan van Oldenbarnevelt, and his role in the Thirty Years' War. Each is approx. 400 pages, 6"x9". Near Very Good/No Jacket.
