THE ENGRAVINGS IN FIRST STATE ARE ALL SIGNED IN PENCIL. Hasegawa's engraving, "Anemones et fleurs de champs dans un verre a facettes" (Kyoto 368), is considered one of his masterpieces, and very few Hasegawa prints are signed in pencil.
