Third impression of the first edition, issued the same year as the first printing. 8vo. 319pp. Pinkey-salmon cloth, lettered and decorated in silver at the spine. Map-illustrated endpapers, unaccredited but almost certainly from a design by C.F.Tunnicliffe. Cloth lightly marked in places and discoloured at the head and base of the backstrip. Some spotting to the edges and, very lightly, to the flyleaf. Former owner details neatly inked to the flyleaf and a tiny partially erased former owner rubber stamp to the base of the front pastedown. A good bright copy in double-spread Tunnicliffe-designed colour dust wrapper, with some notable loss to the head of the spine panel and adjacent areas, and with a single short closed tear and a little resulting creasing. Good/Fair.
