Printed on India paper. lacking the tipped-in errata slip. The top edge dust soiled, and with some fading to the backstrip cloth. Contemporary (1940) former owner gift inscription inked to the head of the front free endpaper. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper (the later state, without the silver star patterning), with some noticeable tanning to the spine panel, a little edge-creasing and perhaps a centimetre of loss from the base of the spine. Very Good/Good.
