Very good indeed in the attractive Mildred Eldridge-illustrated dust wrapper, non-price-clipped but a little nicked at the extremities with several tiny fractions of loss. An extended nature story involving an oriental pheasant hatched in the nest of a native British bird, set in the context of rural England during the Second World War. Very Good/Very Good.
