Laid-in is a hand-written letter from the editor Brocard Sewell, briefly mentioning Williamson's novel 'A Solitary War' ("And it seems to have been very well received in spite of the challenging dedication to Oswald & Diane Mosley"), plus a second unsigned typewritten letter from Sewell concerning the 1969 Aylesford Review Whitsun Literary and Social Weekend (this last seemingly distributed to all subscribers).
