The chapter containing the "Historical and Political Reflections on Louisiana" by Paul Alliot has the text in both English and French. Volume 1 has water damage to top of front board and top of spine causing heavy c ol or l os s, da ma ge t o cloth, distortion to board/spine in that area (up to 3/4" deep, but less in most areas). Less damaging water marks at top of rear board, causing color loss and slight dye migration to top corner of rear pastedown and r ear fe p. Bo tto m of sp ine is faded and slightly frayed. Some scattered water spots on boards and spine with varying degrees of color loss. Center of spine is slightly concave. Very light bump to bottom corner of front board. Inside hing es s tart ing sli ghtl y, oth erwi se i nter ior is clean and tight with many pages unopened. T.E.G. Volume 2 has light wear to corners of boards and top/bottom of spine. Some light areas of soiling, scuffing and color loss to boards, but no wa ter d amage as to vo lume 1. The insid e is clean and tight with many pages unopened. T.E.G.
