He was honored for his work on Respiration (Rouen); Abscess drainage (Academie Royale de Chirurgie); and for the present work which was awarded a prize by the Dutch Society in Haarlem. He is the author of Garrison-Morton 4303 "Dissertation sur les effets du mouvement et du repos dans les maladies chirurgicales". He is also known for his interest and research in other branches of medicine, mechanics, astronomy and geophysics.
