Laid in are two handwritten letters to the same people the catalogue is inscribed to, one four pages, another two pages, written in 1967 and 1968. In them he describes his friendship with Robert Kennedy, his autobiography "The Pendulum," reading the Groucho Marx letters and other personal anecdotes. .
