Authorized by the Centennial Board of Finance, and approved by the Director-General. Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott & Co., 1876. 12mo. 48 pp. + [6] blank pages for 'Memorandums.' Wood-engraved text illustrations and two nice fold-out maps; one of the maps is printed in color. Red cloth over beveled boards. Top board is blocked in black; lower board is blocked in blind. Cloth is rubbed, particularly at corners, and shows superficial insect activity. Clean within, and sound overall, it is a very good copy. According to the title-page, this was the only guide-book sold on the exhibition grounds.
