Paris, a la Libraire de la Jeunesse, chez Eugene Balland, 1828. 8vo. 262pp. Edifying readings on history, religion, morality, natural history, etc., by a "University Professor" to his son. With fine engraved title (dated 1827) and frontispiece, the latter crudely hand-colored, probably by a juvenile owner. Four pages of ads list the titles in the series "Libraire de la Jeunesse." Contemporary tree-calf, worn at extremities, with half- inch loss to foot of spine. Lightly foxed throughout. (3 copies in OCLC).
