The fifth volume is a supplement: SUPPLEMENT renfermant un grand nombre de termes d'art, de science, d'agriculture, etc., et de neologismes de tous genres appuyes d'exemples, et contenant la rectification de quelques definitions du dictionnaire . Ce supplement est suivi dun dictionnaire etymologique de tous les mots d'origine orientale (Arabe, Hebreu, Persan, Turc, Malais), par Marcel Devic. Volumes 1 & 2, 3 & 4 have continuous pagination: LIX,2080;[2],2628 pp. Supplement: IV,375,[2],84 pp. Text is printed in triple columns. Uniformly bound in three-quarter green morocco with green cloth sides, gilt-stamped spine-titles, all edges marbled, with matching endpapers. Ex- library; only a bookplate to front pastedown and no other marks. Leather is rather (superficially) scuffed and rubbed, and Vol. 2 is bumped at the crown with a short tear; but all of the bindings are sound. Except for three discolored leaves at the end of Vol. 3, the text leaves are quite clean and crisp. Very good.
