Light shelfwear at lower edges of boards, else fine. Neihardt (1881-1973), American poet and novelist, is generally remembered today for his sympathetic treatment of Native Americans, particularly the Sioux, and especially for his collaboration with Black Elk on Black Elk Speaks (1932). However, his poetic talent was recognized early in his career; this study was published a year before the Nebraska State Legislature named him the "Poet Laureate of Nebraska and the Plains. .
