First edition., second issue. 8vo., brown decorative cloth, gilt. Just a slight skew; faint spotting to fore-edge of front board with a touch of wear to extremes and slight soil to cloth, mainly at the heel. Minor worming at the hinges. One leaf is chipped at the bottom opening corner with a slight loss of text. Still, a bright, overall very good copy of an attractive binding. (Howes C983).
