The inscription is to William Koshland, an editor at Knopf. 275 pp. 8vo. red cloth back with gilt-stamped title and decoration, slate grey paper boards, decorative device blind-stamped to upper board, top-edge stained to match boards. Laid-in is a small book inspection ticket. Light dampstaining at heel of spine, with a corresponding spot to dust jacket, else a clean and fresh copy. The dust jacket is sunned at the spine, starting at the upper fold-in crease, and with a nick at the lower fold-in. The book and jacket are both bright and in very good condition, containing a warm inscription. .
