Illustrated in b+w woodblock throughout. String-bound Japanese-style, fukuro toji, with the original printed paper title labels. 27.2 x 17.6 cm. Follows the collation of the RMvV 3903-1 copy, without the second, Minamoto Shiki preface bound-in, save that our copy has all the illustrations called for. This important work is very unusual internally complete. Unfortunately we are missing the second volume, and the two we have are quite wormed and worn, but the "Chinese- style" printing is quite good.
