Four volumes bound as two: Vol. One [text]: 516 pp., 604 pp.; Vol. Two [plates, diagrams and illustrations] not paginated. 4to., 3/4 leather marbled paper-covered boards printed in gilt to spine. Ink ownership in both volumes. A couple of pages loose at the front of Vol. 1, considerable foxing to Vol. 2 with areas of dampstaining to plates towards the end. Both volumes have scuffed and bumped boards with Vol. 2 missing some paper covering from lower board. We offer this serviceable copy as is.
