A1, n/a. Boards, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Oblong quarto, black boards with the title embossed. Bound with ribbon. A little is known about this item, which should be of iterest to a collector. No publishers' name, date or author's name is given, probably self published. Contains 10 leaves with 20 photographs with captions + endpapers. About half of them are of the cathedral, interior and exterior, taken from different angles. The rest are of other significant buildings, and palces, such as "Old cheesehill Rectory" Thetcher tomb, St Cross hospital, etc. as well as of the town centre and surrounds. Judging from the styles of clothing, the pictures were taken in the 1890s, up to the early 1900s. All are slightly age-tanned, but in v/g condition, with only little foxing present. Good/No Jacket.
