Is it healthy? Is there any sport to be had? Are the people really nice?" etc. Describes his travels and jobs throughout Australia (also New Guinea, New Zealand) - including Aborigines, manufacturing, agriculture, working classes, sporting (much on fishing), the press, government, land settlement and reform.
