The Vol. 2 dust jacket is soiled, spotted & lightly chipped. xxiii, [i] & 528 pages; and xviii & 283 pages. Illustrated with black-and- white photographic plates, maps & tables, with 4 large folding color maps in Vol. 1 in a rear pocket & 3 folding maps in a Vol. 2 rear pocket. There is light spotting to the edges, pastedowns and endpapers of both volumes with a small, light stain to the Vol. 1 title. Vol. 2 lacks a "Land Classication" map called for in the table of contents, else very good in good dust wrappers.
