There is light spotting to the endpapers with an owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. The page edges are slightly darkened. Black-and-white pictorial title. Good.

First edition.

The book is dedicated to Eleanor Charlotte Sellar and the ink signature of Mary N. Sellar appears on the front pastedown. Sellar was the maiden name of Lang's mother.

A publisher's note is tipped in on the front endpaper stating that the book is not to be sold at a discount. Good .
